Introducing Bond Fête: crafting connection.
You might be thinking, “Wait… what’s Bond Fête?” You probably know me as Alicja, the artist behind sculptural wall art — but this new name might sound unfamiliar.
First, a big heartfelt thank you. Your support through all my creative adventures — from wall art to photography to paper illustration — has kept me going. Truly. So here’s the latest chapter: my sculptural wall art is gracefully stepping aside to make room for something new.
A shift in creativity
Not long ago, I shared that I’d be revealing my art process — every layer, every texture. It was my way of trying to rekindle my passion for structural wall art. But as I started creating again, something felt off. My studio was turning into storage, and the joy I once felt in the process just wasn’t there.
Then I remembered a question I’d been asked years ago: “Would you ever teach your methods?”
At the time, I wasn’t ready — I was still exploring and figuring things out. But that little question planted a seed.
The paper trail that led me here
Back in 2017, I made an unexpected shift — from photographer to paper illustrator. I created detailed paper scenes for brands (yep, even Tide’s creative team!) and started leading paper-crafting workshops around the country.
Those workshops were magic. I watched total strangers, sitting around a table with glue and paper, become friends by the end of the session. Crafting was just the medium — connection was the real masterpiece.
That spark eventually led to my first company, Unstationary, where I made personal paper-crafting kits and even hosted virtual craft parties. Then Covid came along, and like so many others, I had to put those dreams aside and focus on family and stability.
It took three years before I could even look at paper without feeling the ache of what was lost.
Finding joy again
Fast-forward to now. Through Effingham Artists, I re-discovered how fulfilling it is to create with people — to share laughter, conversation, and creativity in the same space. And that’s when the idea for Bond Fête clicked.
Bond Fête is where creativity meets connection — thoughtfully designed paper-craft kits that are easy to make while chatting and sipping, yet beautiful enough to display in your home.
We create bonding moments — pun absolutely intended.
The road ahead
There’s so much more I hope for Bond Fête, but my plan is to take it slow and steady — no burnout, no rush. Just meaningful moments shared over paper, scissors, and laughter.
So here’s to crafting together again — and to finding joy, friendship, and creativity in the simple act of making something with your hands.
